Bathrooms

Thanks to all those cool designers out there working hard on producing new and fantastic ideas bathrooms are not the boring rooms they once were. IN fact bathrooms can be one of the most interesting rooms when it comes to design and modern gadgets.

Thanks to the high price of water and heating most UK bathrooms these days will be fitted with showers as showers can save you up to 50% on your water and heating bills. This is not only good for your wallet but it is good for the environment too so don’t be put off with having showers installed. Whether you just have bathroom suites and no shower in your bathroom you can always have a shower fitted above your bath, saves time, space and money on a full cubicle shower. You will however be best off getting some shower enclosures installed around the bath to keep the water in the bath unless you are using showers in wet rooms that is.

Bathroom design can be fun to these days with novelty toilet seats and bathroom taps and even basin mixer taps as well as other bathroom accessories designed to bring a smile to your face. These toilet seats come in an array of different design to suit even the most extraordinary of tastes.

Another aspect of bathroom design which always needs consideration is how you are going to heat your bathroom? Most UK homes are heated using central heating, this makes choosing the heating for your bathroom easy as radiators particularly Stelrad radiators are the safest and most economical way of heating. You can always chose from aluminium radiators and if you have no gas supply then there are always electric radiators. If you want to add a touch of style to your bathroom heating solution why not consider towel rails as these are just as functional as radiators but a lot more stylish.

If you use oil for your heating system you will still be able to find radiators but will obviously need to have good oil tanks in which to store your oil.
